Wawecus Medical Center
This was a multi-year multi phase project. Beginning in 2005 with the fit out of the Chelsea Clinic, through numerous renovations and a couple of significant additions NCI has expanded this 8,500 s.f. medical care facility into a 64,000 s.f. Medical Care Complex of two buildings complete with a Endoscopic Surgery Center, Lasik Eye Surgery Suite and a Pathology Lab.
This project included installation of an two stop Elevator in the existing portion of the building, a 2 story Pre-Engineered addition of 20,000 sf, standing seam metal roof, other addition(s) that were slab on grade with a combination of EIFS and reinforced CMU exterior, metal stud walls with bar joist roof structure with membrane roofing, interior finishes included, among other items; flooring, ceilings, millwork, lighting, paint, wall coverings, marker boards, etc.
All work was accomplished while the facility was open and in full operation, careful planning and phasing was required to keep all practices in full operation.
